  • Do I need an appointment?
    Yes, we require appointments for bridal.
  • How long is an appointment?
    An appointment will usually be 60 - 75 minutes. We find 75 minutes is a perfect amount of time to browse the collection of dresses as well plenty of time to try on dresses and find your perfect one. Second appointments are typically 30 minutes. We reserve 30 minutes for accessories styling appointments.
  • What is the price range of your dresses?
    Our collection of dresses range from 1200 to 5000.
  • How many people may I bring with me?
    Our boutique has seating for up to 5 guests in your party. We find bringing along a few of your closest loved ones keeps the experience special and focused on you. We have a private room for bridal fittings so if you are hoping to bring a larger party with you, please let us know in advance. We will do our best to accommodate your needs. We love children but our private dressing room is for adults. We schedule your flower girl fittings separately.
  • What should I bring to my appointment?
    We recommend wearing nude, seam-free undergarments and a strapless bra. Bringing along shape wear, and a pair of heels can also be helpful. (We do have a few pairs of heels kicking around if you’ve dropped in.) If you have any pictures or ideas of the dress you are looking for please bring them. Also, if you have an idea of how you are going to wear your hair, please do so it will help when selecting a veil as well as visualize how beautiful you’re going to look on your big day! * We ask that you do not wear too much make-up, it helps us keep the dresses clean & pristine condition.   • What sizes are your sample dresses?
    We have sample dresses from size 2 - 24 but the majority of our dresses are sampled in size 8, 10 and 12. We understand it can sometimes be difficult to envision your wedding dress when the sample size is less than a perfect fit, which is why we have clips and tricks to help give you a good idea. Our aim is to dress brides of all shapes and sizes, and we are continually adding a range of sample sizes to our dress collection. (Check out our loaner dress option: for a fee we can order in a sample dress for you to try on.)
  • What sample sizes do you have for bridesmaids?
    We have a full range of sizes in bridesmaid dresses - ranging from size 2 to 24
  • Do you provide alteration services?
    No, we do not have an in-house seamstress however we provide a list of recommended seamstresses who can provide all your alteration needs. We are here to answer any of your questions. Please note: alterations are an additional cost.
  • How long does it take for a dress to come in? When should I order my dress?
    Typically, it takes between 6 months to order and receive a wedding dress, while there might be some deviation it is best to allow 6 to 8 months. We always recommend giving yourself extra time as you may need an additional month or two for any alterations being made. (It’s piece of mind while you are busy planning everything else). Our designers have a production time of 4-6 months, ordering earlier rather than later allows for production, shipping, and alterations. Rush orders can often be accommodated though rush fees do apply. If you find yourself short on time, there is the option to purchase your dress from our sample sale collection. (Off the rack) Bridesmaid dresses and flower girl dresses take from 3 - 4 months.
  • How do I know what size I am?
    Most dresses fit 1 to 2 sizes smaller than normal clothing sizes but every company varies. If you are a size 8, you will typically fit into a size 12 wedding dress.
  • Mimi’s is a full service boutique!
    We have a large selection of formal wear to outfit the entire bridal party, from the groom to the children's attire.
  • Are shoes allowed inside the boutique?
    Outdoor shoes are not allowed inside the private dressing area - we want you to feel at home while also keeping our beautiful white gowns as clean as possible for bridal fittings! We provide cozy slippers, and you are welcome to bring in your own if you wish.
  • Are food and beverages allowed in your shop?
    No, we do not allow outside food, alcohol, or coffee/tea to be brought into our shop. Food and coffee are not allowed inside the boutique beyond the reception area. We offer water for refreshment.
  • At Mimi’s we offer Private Champagne Shopping Parties!
    This experience is the best way to include your whole entourage and make the event a memorable one. You get the whole boutique to yourselves and you are shopping with champagne in hand, cannot get much better than that! Call us to schedule the experience of a lifetime. ($15 per person)
  • What to expect?
    step 1: you will meet with your personal consultant who will work with you throughout your consultation. To ensure that we can offer you the very best customer service we need to find out a little more about you and your big day. Your consultant will discuss all the important details of your wedding day including exactly what you are envisioning for your perfect dress. step 2: selecting dresses - Initially gown selection can seem overwhelming, we encourage you to browse through our collections and with the guidance of your consultant, choosing and narrowing your selection will be much easier and less time consuming. step 3: Once you have a selection of dresses we make it as easy as one, two, three …. step 4: Accessorize. Once you have found the perfect dress, it’s time to accessorize! Your consultant can suggest elegant pairings from our large inventory of beautiful wedding accessories. step 5: Saying Yes to the Dress! We are confident that you will find the perfect dress. the details: Now that you have said yes, we will take measurements and confirm details, then place your order. A 50% deposit is required to finalize the transaction.
